Charlie’s Memes of the Week
If you’ve been on X/Twitter at all the last few months, you’ve probably gotten some cold DMs from a ghostwriter. “Hey bro, I can 10x your following in the next week. Let’s make some shit happen bro!”
Most of us just ignore these DMs, especially when we see the “master” content creator has 97 followers.
But one guy went down the rabbit hole and hired one of these writers, documenting it all for us to see. Here’s the nightmare that unfolded (read the full thread here)

We’re on our honeymoon rn and can’t stop laughing at the replies/quotes. Truly the best wedding gift a memelord and memelady could ever ask for.
Ok story over. Onto the serious stuff: dank meme strategy.
On Monday, we saw what I’m calling a “Big Meme Event”: Apple’s WWDC event. Every year, a bunch of Apple and tech nerds head out to Apple’s HQ to see what new stuff is coming in iOS. Because Twitter culture is so deeply intertwined for tech culture, Twitter goes nuts for it.

There’s a few Big Meme Events every year and WWDC is one of them. Make sure to keep your eyes out for Big Meme Events. As. I write about in Memes Make Millions, a memelord must always capitalize on the current thing.
Keep your eyes open and keyboard fingers ready.
